Frost Bite Open

Bundle up and swing into winter at the Frost Bite Open, happening 6 December 2025 at 1000 (weather permitting) at the Woodlawn Golf Course, Ramstein Air Base! This annual cold-weather classic is the perfect way to test your skills, warm up your competitive spirit, and have some frosty fun before the holidays.

The event follows a 4-player team scramble format with a unique twist—each player tees off, and whoever’s shot is selected will sit out for the rest of that hole. Three players continue for the second shot, and this process repeats until the ball is holed. If the hole isn’t completed after the fourth shot, all players take a fifth shot together. Should the hole remain unfinished, the team records a double bogey and moves on.

The entry fee is $55 for members and $75 for non-members, which includes the Green Fee, Cart Fee (weather permitting), range access, food, prizes, and a hot beverage to keep you toasty. Payments can be made on the day of registration, but space is limited — so make sure to register by COB 4 December at the Pro Shop or by calling ahead.
