College Workshop
Preparing for college can be an exciting yet overwhelming process — and the 86 MSG School Liaison Office is here to help! In partnership with the Education Office, they’re hosting a special College Workshop for parents of students in grades 9–12. This informative session will take place on 13 November from 1530 to 1630 at the Professional Development Center, Bldg. 411, Ramstein Air Base, and will also be available virtually via Microsoft Teams.
This workshop is designed to empower parents with the tools and insights needed to support their teen’s college journey. Topics include college admissions, grant opportunities, and application writing, with a special focus on the session “Telling Your Story: Writing That Opens Doors.” Attendees will learn how to help students craft compelling personal statements that stand out to admissions officers and scholarship committees.
Whether your child is just beginning to explore college options or is already preparing applications, this event will provide valuable information and guidance from education professionals who understand the unique needs of military families.
Join this session to gain clarity, confidence, and actionable steps for your student’s academic future — because the path to college success starts with preparation!
