Volunteer Coaches Needed
Ramstein and Vogelweh Youth Sports are calling on passionate community members to step up and make a difference! The program is currently seeking volunteer coaches for the upcoming Winter Sports season, which includes basketball and cheerleading. If you have a love for sports, teamwork, and helping young athletes grow, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved and make a lasting impact.
Volunteering as a youth coach is more than just teaching skills—it’s about building confidence, leadership, and sportsmanship in the next generation. Whether you’re a seasoned coach or new to the field, training and support will be provided to ensure a rewarding experience for both you and the athletes. This program is open to active-duty members, DoD civilians, retirees, and family members ages 18 and older.
By joining the coaching team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping a fun and engaging environment where children can learn discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—all while staying active and making new friends.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please reach out for more information by calling DSN 480-5660, emailing 86fss.ryp@us.af.mil, or visiting the Ramstein & Vogelweh Youth Sports Office. Together, let’s inspire the next generation of athletes!
